This week, Latrobe Health Services kicked off its Giving Tree Appeal at branches in Gippsland. Latrobe Health is again supporting the Gippsland community by accepting new, unwrapped gifts for children and young people who are cared for by Quantum Support Services.
The Christmas Giving Tree Appeal helps ensure that every Gippslander has a special festive season, and Latrobe Health is calling for community and member support to gather as many gifts as possible.
Latrobe Health Services CEO, Ian Whitehead, said Latrobe Health is proud of its annual $5 million community investment which supports many community organisations and health initiatives.
“We recognise the important work that organisations like Quantum do in our community, and we’re proud to be supporters of their work,” said Mr Whitehead.
“Donating a gift to our Giving Tree Appeal can bring a smile to the faces of children and their families at a special time of year,” continued Mr Whitehead.
Spread joy this festive season by donating unwrapped new toys for children aged 0-18 or giving a financial contribution.
Quantum is a Gippsland based organisation with offices in Morwell, Warragul, Sale and Bairnsdale. They support the local community with services including foster and kinship care, homelessness support, family violence services and more.
Christmas Giving Trees are on display in Latrobe Health Services branches in Warragul, Moe, Maryvale Private Hospital and Traralgon. Gifts will be accepted until Friday, 6 December.
