Right now, it’s a little more difficult to access the health services we need.

But for Latrobe members with extras coverage for psychology, physiotherapy, dietetics, speech pathology, podiatry, counselling, occupational therapy, exercise physiology and osteopathy, getting the care you need just got a whole lot easier.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, from today until the end of September 2020, those members with extras coverage for a range of services will be able to claim benefits for consultations delivered via telephone or video conferencing.

“We want to make sure our members can continue their treatment without the added worry of putting themselves or their health professionals at risk of coronavirus infection,” Latrobe’s Head of Operational Delivery Joanne Nixon said.

“This is already an extremely stressful time for many members. The ability to access telehealth treatments across a range of services ensures members with extras coverage continue to get the health care they need throughout this pandemic.”

To be eligible for benefits, you must be covered for psychology, physiotherapy, dietetics, speech pathology, podiatry, counselling, occupational therapy, exercise physiology and osteopathy under your existing extras policy.

  • The invoice/receipt must clearly state the service was a telehealth consultation.
  • The service must be delivered before 30 September 2020.
  • The service must be undertaken with a registered provider and in accordance with the relevant Association’s guidelines.

The easiest way to submit your claim is via our mobile app but you can also write or email.
